Deborah Tymon Lent's practice includes the representation of individuals and businesses in a variety of practice areas, including estate planning, trust administration, decedent's estates, real estate, legal entity planning, and general business transactions.
Ms. Lent has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of transactional real estate law, including financing transactions, loan restructuring, loan securitizations and syndications, the purchase and sale of raw and developed land for residential, commercial and industrial uses, leasing matters on behalf of both landlords and tenants, and the preparation of related real property agreements such as easements, co-tenancy and co-owner agreements. She has also represented both lenders and borrowers in asset based and real estate based financing arrangements.
Estate Planning and Decedent's Estates:
The estate planning practice includes the drafting and implementation of revocable and irrevocable trusts, conventional wills, as well as other planning arrangements. The decedent's estate practice includes the representation of trustees, executors and administrators in the administration of estates held by a trust as well as in court supervised petitions before the Probate Court.
Legal Entity Planning and General Business Transactions:
Ms. Lent has also represented corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, non-profit entities and charitable foundations in the connection with their formation and dissolution, in their general operations, and in drafting and negotiating their general contractual agreements.
Deborah Tymon Lent earned her B.S. (Cum Laude) in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1982 and her J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1985. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar, the Beverly Hills Bar and is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in California.
